Datum Designs is a family-owned construction firm that has been providing specialised construction and maintenance services in South-East Queensland since 1983. Our 40 strong team of skilled construction professionals, supported by a corporate office of operational support staff, provide expert services across the full construction spectrum; new build, remediation and maintenance.
With over 10,000 projects completed for Queensland Government and private clients we believe our success can be attributed to the strength of our relationships with clients, subcontractors and employees. The depth of experience and diversity of skill across our employee and contractor base enables us to deliver 400 maintenance jobs and multiple major projects at any one time up to a value of $2.5 million.

Steve Asmar
Director
As Founding Director of Datum Designs Steve lends his considerable experience to the strategic planning and execution of projects. Having led the Datum Designs team for almost 30 years, Steve has successfully delivered countless projects for clients across South East Queensland.
Will Asmar
Manager - Operatations
Will in duel trade as an electrician and capenter, overseas the daily operations of Datum.
Bec Jones (Asmar)
Manager - Corporate Governace
After a career in the Film and Television industry, Bec has joined Datum as Manager of Governace.
Pat Jones
Manager - Assurance
Pat has joined Datum as the Assurance Manager after a career in the U.S. Navy as a combat medic.
Jaz Asmar
Manager - Contracts
After several years of working at Datum, Jaz is now Manager of Contracts.
